Childhood Apraxia of Speech impacts 1 in 1000 children.

The Bjorem and Bolles Apraxia Education Initiative, featuring the “I Am King” program, is dedicated to empowering speech-language pathologists through accessible, evidence-based education focused on the assessment and play-based treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).

Inspired by Kingston Bolles, a remarkable child navigating the apraxia journey, our mission is to ensure that SLPs feel confident, competent, and supported in their ability to deliver meaningful, effective therapy. Through research-driven training and practical resources, we aim to strengthen the connection between SLPs, children, and families—helping every child with apraxia find their voice and thrive.

We believe that by equipping professionals with the right tools and knowledge, we can create a ripple effect of hope, progress, and possibility—one powerful session at a time.
